The heads are bigger along with the cylinder size hence 5.9L (or 360) vs 5.2 (318) I'm sure you already know that just added commentary!! Web2 nov 2010 · The V-10 makes 56.25 torque per liter and the 5.9L makes 56.78 torque per liter. The 5.9L will more easily fit in the Jeep since the factory did it and the V-10 will be a mother f*cker to squeeze in. Plus the tight chassis will make getting the exhaust manifolds down and out a PITA as well. I'd go with a diesel swap before a V-10 swap.
